The replica was successful and <strong>OD\u00a0<\/strong>was granted with the <strong>contract for the guest areas interiors<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The crew&#8217;s quarters include <strong>two officers&#8217; cabins and seven other twin cabins<\/strong>, as well as a <strong>galley<\/strong>, <strong>lounge\u00a0<\/strong>and <strong>mess hall<\/strong>, <strong>laundry<\/strong>, <strong>workshops\u00a0<\/strong>and a\u00a0<strong>medical centre<\/strong>. \u00a0Design &amp; outfitting includes mineral-wool insulation, primary deck coverings, sandwich bulkheads, Oak and teak furniture, vinyl, carpeted and teak floors, electrically operated curtains and decorative panelling with sculpted Corian.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter catamaran\u00a0<\/strong>with an <strong>aluminium hull and superstructure<\/strong>. With a <strong>14\u2011metre beam<\/strong>, it can reach a cruising speed of <strong>25 knots<\/strong>. It is the first shadow boat to be built in Spain. Like the auxiliary vessels used by naval fleets to transport fuel, food, ammunition, medicine and spare parts, shadow boats are tasked with <strong>providing the most complete experience to passengers\u00a0<\/strong>on the yacht.<\/p>\n<p>Shadow boats make it possible to <strong>complement the usual levels of luxury\u00a0<\/strong>on the mother ship with <strong>exciting extras\u00a0<\/strong>such as <strong>underwater exploration<\/strong>, <strong>helicopter trips\u00a0<\/strong>and <strong>outings \u00a0<\/strong>in a whole range of <strong>floating devices<\/strong>\u2014from humble canoes to powerful water-skis, motor boats and even <strong>ATV<\/strong> vehicles. In recent years, however the trend has been to create a <strong>new type of mega-yacht<\/strong>, rivalling the mother ship in <strong>luxuryv<\/strong>and <strong>aesthetic appeal<\/strong>. There are currently only about <strong>twenty units in servicev<\/strong>around the world, but the numbers are growing and in the future, it is expected that most super yachts will boast their own support vessel. The \u201c<strong><em>Hodor<\/em><\/strong>\u201d is the <strong>first significant launch\u00a0<\/strong>of a Shadow Boat in the world <strong>using a Catamaran hull\u00a0<\/strong>(\u201cShadow Cat\u201d), \u00a0which gives her a much greater volume.
